We’re looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to support commercial costing analysis in a growing Australian international logistics business with offices based in Cebu.
This role focuses on data analysis, Excel modelling, and operational insights. It is not a traditional accounting role, and formal accounting qualifications are not required.
If you are strong in Excel, data analysis, and logical problem‑solving, and want to build practical commercial skills, this role is designed for you.

What you’ll be working on- Analysing large datasets related to costs and performance
- Building and maintaining Excel‑based models and tools
- Investigating data issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies
- Supporting internal teams with clear, practical insights
- Learning how commercial and operational decisions are made in an international business
This is a hands‑on role, your work will be used to support real decisions.
Key skills we’re looking for- Intermediate Excel (power query, match functions, clear accuracy checking)
- Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working with large or messy datasets
- High attention to detail
- Ability to explain numbers clearly
- SQL, Power BI or similar tools (nice to have)
- Background in any of data, analytics, finance, accounting, economics, or operations
- No requirement for CPA, CA, or accounting qualifications
- Prior finance or accounting experience not required
