QA Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents provided by IT Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Monday.com, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing.
• Collaborate with IT Business Analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Tester.
• Strong ability to understand and interpret business requirements and technical specifications.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms for defect tracking and test case management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with IT Business Analysts and development teams.

Bonus Points (Highly Desired):

• Familiarity with testing projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) applications.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
