Job Description

A hotel room attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas in a clean, orderly, and welcoming condition. Their role ensures guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction by performing daily cleaning tasks, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms: Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and clean bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces: Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and wipe mirrors/windows.
• Replenish supplies: Restock toiletries, minibar items, and other amenities.
• Inspect rooms: Ensure rooms meet hotel standards before guest check-in.
• Report issues: Notify supervisors of damages, maintenance needs, or lost-and-found items.
• Assist guests: Respond politely to guest requests for extra items or services.
• Follow safety protocols: Use cleaning chemicals responsibly and adhere to health standards.
• Skills and Qualifications
• Attention to detail – ability to spot cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Physical stamina – capable of standing, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
• Time management – efficiently clean multiple rooms within set schedules.
• Customer service skills – courteous interaction with guests.
• Teamwork – collaborate with housekeeping staff and supervisors.
• Basic communication skills – English proficiency often required; local language knowledge is an advantage.

• College graduate
• Has good communication skills and with positive attitude
• With hotel experience preferred
