Production Planning and Material (PMC) Consultant

Forecast material requirements based on production schedules, sales orders and MRP.
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortage or overstocking.
Implement JIT.
Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to ensure on time material delivery.
Develop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer demand.
Allocate materials to production lines based on priority.
Work with production team to resolve material bottlenecks.
Liaise with procurement, warehousing and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
Track supplier performance, OTD and address delays.
Manage return of defective materials and coordinate replacements.
Use ERP systems to track inventory and material usage.
Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock accuracy, shortage and excess stock.
Analyze material waste or scrap rates and suggest improvements.
