Solar Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to manage and oversee solar installation projects. The Site Engineer will ensure technical accuracy, quality standards, and timely completion of work while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor solar PV installation activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
• Assist in material planning, inventory control, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders for updates and site concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in solar PV installation or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solar technology, and site management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with renewable energy standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software.
• Leadership and team coordination abilities.
