Warehouse and Logistic Staff

WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS STAFF

Primarily an administrative position, the warehouse assistant is ensures the smooth function of all warehouse activities under the supervision of the warehouse manager or supervisor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the receiving and dispatching of items/materials.
• Track inventory of all supplies and maintain notes of any damaged materials, taking physical counts of the goods and preparing detailed documentation;
• Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock.
• Follow proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions;
• Coordinate with transporters and suppliers for the dispatch and procurement of materials.
• Performs activities engaged in receiving, handling, storing, and releasing of materials at warehouse
• Keeps track of stock that moves in and out of a specified location.
• Prepares and submits necessary reports and documents required by the management
• Ensures that all delivered materials are complete based on the Sales Invoice
• Checks the order picking accuracy and timeliness. Reports to immediate superior anyone who deviates from agreed standards
• Supports and observe implementation of Good Warehousing Practices and 5S
• Reports losses, damages, and discrepancies to the supervising authorities
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time Perform all duties assigned by the warehouse manager or supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree
• With at least 1-2 years of work experience as Warehouse Logistics Staff
• Keen to details and highly-organized
• With strong knowledge in using MS Office
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
