Responsibilities

Generate technically and grammatically correct customer reports that details the investigation, resolution, and root cause analysis of a Vertiv equipment service event, based on information supplied by the Customer Engineer and Technical Support.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4 years of professional experience in the field of electrical servicing or construction.
• Familiarity with standards from National Electrical Code (NEC), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American National (ANSI).
• Solid knowledge of (1) tests performed on circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, and other power distribution components and equipment; (2) power quality issues and perspectives, and experience with power quality analyzer software; and (3) infrared inspections and issues, and experience with thermal imaging software.
• Good knowledge of technical English, and good business writing skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective working with teammates and POCs.
