Junior Production Supervisor
The Junior Production Supervisor assists in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, and output. The role supports the Production Supervisor in managing the production team, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in supervising and coordinating daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
Monitor manpower, materials, and machine utilization to support efficient production operations.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and company policies.
Support the training and guidance of production staff to ensure proper work procedures and safety practices.
Prepare and assist in maintaining production reports, including output, efficiency, downtime, and manpower performance.
Monitor production processes and report operational issues or bottlenecks to the Production Supervisor.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices are maintained within the production area.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or food production operations.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety standards, and production processes.
Strong leadership potential, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
