HR Recruitment and Onboarding Head
Job Purpose
The Recruitment and Onboarding Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes within the organization. This role ensures that the company attracts top talent, provides a seamless and engaging onboarding experience, and ultimately supports the retention and integration of new hires.
Main Accountabilities
Recruitment Strategy Development & Execution
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates across all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs and create tailored recruitment plans.
Oversee the creation of job descriptions, postings, and advertisements across various platforms (job boards, social media, career fairs, etc.).
Utilize a range of sourcing strategies (direct sourcing, agencies, internal referrals, etc.) to build a robust talent pipeline.
Recruitment Process Management
Lead the recruitment team and ensure the timely and efficient hiring of top talent for all departments.
Streamline and manage the end-to-end hiring process, including screening, interviewing, candidate assessments, and job offers.
Implement best practices in candidate evaluation, ensuring a fair, consistent, and inclusive process.
Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interviewing and selection techniques.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters and onboarding specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Drive team engagement by fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Provide key recruitment and onboarding metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, employee retention rates).
Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on recruitment trends, bottlenecks, and process improvements.
Analyze data to identify areas of improvement in recruitment strategies, including diversity and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, etc., are a plus but not required).
- 8+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and leading recruitment and onboarding strategies for a mid-to-large organization. Preferably in financial institutions set-up.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition trends, tools, and best practices.
