The HR Assistant – Recruitment is responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring qualified applicants to provide sufficient manpower to departments and project sites.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Source talents through different methods and channels to provide a comprehensive pool and increase quantity and quality of application for manpower requirements.
  • Screen applicants through interviews, personality and behavioral tests, technical exams and trade tests to provide department and project heads with standard quality applicants.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and schedules with Department Heads, Project Managers and Management to ensure efficient processing of employee applications.
  • Provide appropriate and approved job offers to qualified applicants and negotiate terms of employment within bounds of authority to ensure cost efficiency to the Company while securing highly qualified applicants.
  • Coordinate and compile pre-employment requirements of successful applicants to provide verification of identity, fitness to work, employment history, educational background, personal information and government-issued identification.
  • Suggests strategies for sourcing talents for difficult-to-find positions to help increase quantity and quality of applications.
  • Coordinate details of newly hired employees to respective department heads, to orientation committee, and to Admin and IT departments to ensure smooth and efficient orientation of employee to the Company.
  • Prepare and submit recruitment reports, including monitoring and updates, to provide relevant information to Department and Project Heads and Management.
  • Issue necessary documents to resigning or resigned employees, such as clearances, Letter of Acceptance of Resignation and Certificate of Employment, to assist the proper turnover of accountabilities.
  • Systematically store and maintain files to provide quick access when needed and meet administrative, legal, tax and financial requirements.
  • Restrict access to personal records and confidential information of employees to authorized personnel only to avoid violation of privacy.

Provide back-up relief for other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the Company.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Recruitment, Online Sourcing
  • Preferably 1 Year Experienced Employee specialized in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Must have extensive knowledge when it comes to modern recruitment strategies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment.
  • Amenable to work in Makati City
