Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Systems Administrator specializing in virtualization and infrastructure technologies. This role is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise virtualization environments, with a primary focus on VMware technologies and complementary experience in Nutanix platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in VMware NSX-T, virtualization infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments, combined with proven experience managing infrastructure initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and support VMware NSX-T environments to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance.
- Manage and support enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere/ESXi and Nutanix AHV.
- Perform day-to-day infrastructure administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure architecture, modernization, migration, and upgrade initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Support infrastructure transformation projects and ensure successful implementation of technical requirements.
- Assist in maintaining high availability, operational efficiency, and service continuity across enterprise environments.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in infrastructure administration, virtualization, or related technology domains.
- Strong hands-on expertise in VMware NSX-T administration and support.
- Practical experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
- Experience working with Nutanix AHV platforms.
- Demonstrated experience participating in or leading infrastructure-related projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure operations and best practices.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Exposure to enterprise network architecture and infrastructure design concepts.
- Experience supporting SAN and storage technologies.
- Familiarity with data center environments and virtualization best practices.
