About the Role
You’ll support a portfolio of Australian clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and compliance tasks, working within well-documented systems and processes. You won’t be left to figure things out alone — support, templates, and guidance are part of how we work.Ongoing training to support you in your role and further develop your skills. This training is a structured program including an initial 4 week onboarding training.
This role suits someone who enjoys structure and accuracy, but also appreciates being part of a team that learns together.
This role is being recruited by Clarke Point(www.clarkepoint.com), a premier Singapore-based agency dedicated to delivering global recruitment and staffing solutions, and is for a long-term, full-time Independent Contractor.
What You’ll Be Doing- Managing bookkeeping for Australian clients using Xero
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparing BAS and supporting compliance requirements
- Producing financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
- Develop a working relationship with clients
- Working within Navigata365 workflows and templates
- Contributing ideas to improve processes over time
What We’re Looking For
Essential- 3–5+ years bookkeeping experience with Australian accounts
- Experience using Xero and must be Xero certified
- Familiarity with BAS, GST, and reconciliations
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience working remotely for Australian clients
- Exposure to management reporting or payroll
- Experience using documents management such as Hubdoc
- A reliable computer or laptop
- Stable internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated home workspace suitable for remote work
- ₱70,000 – ₱90,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Long-term, full-time Independent Contractor role
- Australian (Victoria) public holidays
- 20 days vacation leave per year (Christmas Shutdown inclusive)
- 6 days sick leave per year
- ₱2,500 monthly health insurance allowance
- Fully remote, Monday to Friday, aligned with Australian business hours (with flexibility)
