Cold Storage Technician

About the role

Your expertise in engineering and maintenance will be crucial in ensuring the reliable performance of our cold storage facilities.

1. Conducting scheduled inspections and maintenance of cold storage equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with cold storage systems, and implementing appropriate repairs in a timely manner
3. Monitoring and adjusting temperature, humidity, and other environmental parameters to maintain optimal storage conditions
4. Maintaining comprehensive maintenance records and logs to track the performance and history of cold storage systems
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to cold storage operations
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations

1. Relevant engineering or technical diploma or degree, with a focus on refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a cold storage technician or in a similar role in the maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems
3. Demonstrated proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cold storage equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues with cold storage systems
5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain detailed records and logs
6. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols
