Lead Developer, Job Band 3 (1 Vacancy)
Lifetrack’s PACS has established early product-market fit, with customers and users in 10 countries and 3 continents. Lifetrack aims to make its Lifetrack PACS platform more secure, stable and scalable to deliver the right experience for these partners, while also staying at the forefront of healthcare technology by integrating new capabilities such as deep learning and a self-serve product. To oversee this, Lifetrack requires a dynamic, experienced technology leader, reporting directly to our CEO, the Lead Developer will be responsible for:
- Oversee the whole operations in terms of IT development and its deliverables
- Manage the operations team of programmers
- Responsible for providing tasks and technical leadership
- Development of Software enhancement on current applications and tools
Qualifications/Requirements
Technical expertise. The Lead Developer must be proficient in the LAMP technology stack, and experienced with JavaScript programming. Knowledge and experience in other technology stacks relevant to healthcare or enterprise software-as-a-service models is highly valued.
Engineering leadership. A proven track record in leading an effective development team or organization is required for this role. Lifetrack is looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate strong upward feedback from team members while delivering requirements on-time and with high quality.
Team builder/manager. While the Lead Developer is expected to be a strong individual contributor, he/she will also be expected to recruit other strong engineers and engineering managers to support further growth, and effectively develop and nurture technical talent already at Lifetrack.
Collaborative mindset. The Director of Engineering will be expected to partner effectively with Lifetrack’s CEO/CTO, the chief architect behind the Lifetrack PACS, to deliver on our commitments to partners and customers while maintaining a coherent vision for the technology.
