What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and cost-effective storage, handling and distribution of goods
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures and best practices to optimize productivity and maintain high standards of quality and customer service
- Oversee the receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of products, coordinating with the transport team to ensure timely deliveries
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and safety-conscious work environment
- Analyze warehouse performance data and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate closely with other departments to align warehouse activities with the overall business strategy
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior logistics role
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse and inventory management, with a strong understanding of best practices and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
- Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is highly desirable
