Trade Marketing Specialist
He is responsible for the creation of the operational / execution plan that are co-developed between TMG and Brand Team (planned and ad hoc). He/She has to be knowledgeable of the internal database and system tools and effectively uses them to create the execution plan of pre-defined category programs and activities.
He is primarily responsible for providing the Sales Execution Toolkit (Program Synopsis, Allocation, Budget and Look of Success). He will monitor and measure the performance of these programs and prepare a Post-Activity Report (PAR). At the minimum, the incumbent should be able to recommend and mitigate on a mid-level capacity.
Accountability:
Category Program CreationAssists on the creation of category and channel activities that are aligned with the category strategies and tactics.
With directions coming from his line manager, he will document the execution plan into a Program Synopsis
(distribution, visibility, pricing promotions and merchandising Look of Success) for field sales dissemination
Planning (Execution Centric)Leads the development of the execution plan and all the back end workstreams to complete the Sales Toolkit in
full and on-time. (Activity Synopsis, Trade Letter, Product Samples, permits, Selling Spiel, monitoring forms and
templates)
Trade Fund ManagementAssists the CTMM on the proper disbursement of assigned category budget
Ensures optimization of trade spend with proper monitoring of exhaustion and within agreed CTS level
Distributor Management & Route to Market (RTM Support)
Participates in the operational execution of Distribution support programs needed by Sales (eg. Lotte Pack, Wholesale Activation program, etc.)
Trade and Shopper InsightingHe participates and immerses himself on field and internal workshops to understand the trade, retail and
shopper dynamics
He uses internal and external data and consolidates reports on a regular basis with direction and supervision of
his line manager
ForecastingAssists the CTMM in the preparation of category forecast from TM building blocks
Retail ExcellenceAssists the CTMM in the creation of Category Story. Utilizes relevant shopper insights, market data and customer
information in the development of 5P strategy by retail environment (Place, Price, Promotion, Planogram, POSM)
QUALIFICATIONS- College Graduate in any Management or Business-related course
- Has 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry
- High potential, analytical, and trainable
- Personable, able to maintain a good balance between category and sales objectives
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills, with the ability to execute activities with minimal supervision
- Able to present effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
- Willing to travel to and from FACC, Pasay City
