Electrical Design Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Muntinlupa

Will contribute to the technical excellence of the Design Center and to the market competitivity of the business unit. The SME Electrical Design is responsible for executing, or supporting the team to execute, single line, three-line diagrams and other electrical requirements from commercial stage to Project Execution stage. She/he will act on the following activities:

• Performs detailed electrical single line drawings, equipment wire schedule and electrical sheet set for medium to high voltage PV & battery systems.
• Carries out complex electrical design according to electrical codes, product specifications, utility, and jurisdictional guidelines of 15+ countries.
• Define ACDB equipment, inverter specifications and customer grid interconnections; work as a focal point on the technical specificities, the costs and the benefits of the various equipment
• Point of escalation for electrical design related inquiry, question, issues and concerns for design during the commercial phase also during project execution (post-sale EPC design review, and construction incident resolution).
• Performs quality inspection and peer to peer review for completed Electrical Design prior to submission.
• Training focal point for electrical design process and handles on-boarding training for new hires.
• Facilitates improvement initiatives and close-loop learning.
• Maintains and updates process documents and drawing templates.
• Complies with the Environment, Health and Safety and Company Quality standards, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science major in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 Years solid experience as Electrical Design Engineer including with medium / high voltage experience and solar installation.
• Advanced technical know-how: Photovoltaic and balance of system, single line, three-line diagram, Inverter sizing, shortcircuit calculations, wire calculations, step transformer, substation, LV/MV and HV design, based on application of National Electrical Codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, capable of making recommendation and best design judgement.
• Resourceful and possesses pro-active mindset.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to work within a high productivity and strong excellence design environment.
• Fast worker with ability to work well under pressure and to work overtime when necessary.
