Accountant in house/Financial & Office Manager

YOUR ROLE:

As our Accountant, you will be the CEO’s right hand in all financial matter. You will have a bird’s-eye view of the company’s health, ensuring every collection, expenses, savings are tracked, every supplier is managed, and the office runs like a well-oiled machine.

Thisnposition is NOT a "sit in the corner and crunch numbers" type of job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Financial Oversight & Reporting
  • Maintain full oversight of all cash flow matters, ensuring real-time accuracy.
  • Prepare and present weekly financial reports directly to the CEO.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee tax compliance/filings.
  1. Supply Chain & Inventory Coordination
  • Coordinate with production teams to place and track supplier orders for both local and suppliers abroad.
  • Manage payment schedules for raw materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent project delays or overstocking.
  1. Office Management & HR
  • Act as the primary point of contact for office administrative needs.
  • Manage employee records, payroll processing, and onboarding for new hires.
  • Ensure the office environment is professional and organized.
CHARACTER AND PERSONALITY:
  • A Financial Steward: You believe in the integrity of the data. If a penny is missing, you must be able to find it.
  • Multitasking Extraordinaire: You can pivot from a complex balance sheet to an urgent supplier call without breaking a sweat.
  • Direct Communicator: You are comfortable reporting directly to leadership and providing "boots on the ground" insights into company's financial health
  • Industry Savvy: Experience in construction, fabrication, or specialty contracting is a massive plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.
  • Software: Proficiency in [e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero] and Microsoft Excel and eBIRForms
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills for supplier management and high emotional intelligence for HR duties.
