About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Planning & Control Officer to support efficient project delivery through effective planning, cost monitoring, and contract administration. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that project schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments are properly tracked, analyzed, and implemented.
The position works closely with the Project Manager and Operations team to evaluate project performance, manage variations, support procurement activities, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning and scheduling, including progress monitoring and cost tracking
- Oversee quantity surveying, cost estimates, and valuations
- Manage bid costing and procurement to ensure cost efficiency
- Handle contract and claims management, including variations and change orders
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and overall cost control
- Analyze project performance and implement corrective actions for risks and delays
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with project teams and support overall project delivery
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in project planning, cost control, quantity surveying, or contract management
- Knowledge of construction standards, project management processes, and cost engineering principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and MS Office applications
- Experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) is an advantage
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
