QA Engineer
Location: makati CityWork Mode: Hybrid
Notice: Immediate
Responsibilities:
This role manages testing activities of products or solutions to ensure that the quality is compliant with standards and to meet customer requirements.
Involvement in different test stages: Test Preparation and Analysis, Test Implementation, Test Execution, Test
Reporting and Monitoring, Test ClosureDevelops, prepares and executes test plans, procedures and schedules
Ensures requirements are fully covered by tests
Performs installation and configuration the software application to be tested along with COTS
Performs regression and ad-hoc testing depending on changes
Performs analysis of test results (analysis of logs, gathering of test evidence, bug reporting...)
Reports incidents during test execution and tracks them until closure
Contributes and validates documentations as per project deliveries (Test Description, Test Reports, Maturity
Report, Manuals and How To's...)
Describes, plans and executes simple and mid-complexity tests requiring basic knowledge on testing tools and methodologies, with limited supervision
Coordination with team members (QA, Dev, PM, PO..)
Key Technical Skills
Experience in Manual Testing: Functional and Non-functional (nice to have)
Experience in automation/scripting is a plusStrong understading of software development lifecycle methodology (e.g. Agile) and software testing
methodologies (regression, smoke, exploratory...)
Knowledgeable in testing API's (REST, SOAP), Back-end and Front-end testing
Can work on both Windows and Linux environment
Adaptable in using different tools for testing and reporting: JIRA, Xray (or equivalent Test management tool), Postman/Bruno/SOAP (or related API tool), Confluence...
Bachelors / College degree in Engineering or equivalent courses
Experience of more than 3 years as a QA Engineer/Software Test Engineer
