Finance Data Entry

• Entering high-volume data (invoices, checks, receipts) into computer systems or spreadsheets.
• Checking source documents to ensure data accuracy, correcting errors, and performing data reconciliation.
• Updating and managing vendor or customer accounts, including processing, tracking, and filing invoices.
• Generating reports and summaries for financial analysis.
• Ensuring data integrity by adhering to confidentiality rules and backing up information.
• Working with the Finance Head Office team to support month-end/year-end closing and administrative tasks.

Job qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or any business management course
• With at least 1-2 years of experience in finance support, accounts data entry, or clerical bookkeeping
• Critical for ensuring accuracy in financial data
• Comfortable with calculations, reconciliations, and transactions validation and able to analyze basic calculations
• Understanding data protection principles and audit documentation
• A proactive and analytical approach, beyond routine data entry tasks
• Multi-tasking or the ability to handle high-volume data efficiently

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge or experience in MS Office applications
• Skilled in data entry software or applications (QuickBooks)
• Capable of recurring and routine entry tasks
• Ability to communicate with clients about general ledger structure, invoice flow and data entry bookkeeping
• Willingness to work night shift and fully commit to the required schedule, including potential overtime during peak workflow periods
• Fast learner with strong team collaboration skills
