About the Role
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and store teams to maintain operational standards, improve processes, support staff development, and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in overseeing daily operations across all assigned stores and departments.
- Monitor store performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and inspections to ensure quality, cleanliness, and service excellence.
- Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and manpower coordination.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to minimize stock shortages and wastage.
- Analyze operational reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Address operational issues and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and operational updates for management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in operations, retail, food and beverage, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel between store locations when required.
- Experience in the coffee, restaurant, or food and beverage industry is an advantage.
