• Translation of specifications, manuals, procedures, etc. mainly from Japanese into English.
• Proofreading/editing of translated documents.
• Translation of presentation materials, technical reports, other reports, emails, general documents, etc.
• Formatting of translated documents to include source language graphics.
• Interpreting at various video meetings. Meetings could include late afternoon and evening video meetings between overseas affiliates and Japanese offices.
• Collaboration with the translation group to develop and improve translation job systems.
• Support with maintaining and updating terminology lists.
• Translate English technical documentation and online training materials into the Japanese language for Japanese end users.
• Interpret and support contract preparation or documentation for Japanese clients as per Japan Law.
• Perform other related task as directed

Qualifications/Requirements

• University Graduate preferably a Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years work experience preferably relevant to the Job Title or related field
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Good Interpersonal, analytical, reporting and collaborations skills
• Adaptable, Patient, Understanding, Resourceful & a Team-player
• Fluent on both Japanese and English Language both oral and written
