KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D drawings and models.
Interpret engineering, architectural, or manufacturing design specifications and convert them into technical drawings.Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback, redlines, or field changes.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain drawing databases, file organization, and version control.
Ensure that designs meet industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Assist in preparing documentation packages, including bill of materials and assembly instructions.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve design-related issues.
Perform quality checks on drawings and provide support during the review process.
Qualifications/Requirements
Requirements: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or others depending on the industry).Good knowledge of drafting standards and construction/manufacturing methods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
