What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and efficient back-end systems and APIs
- Write clean, testable and well-documented code in accordance with industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs and other issues in the back-end systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools and industry trends in back-end development
- Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team
- Minimum 1 years of proven experience as a back-end developer
- Strong proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python or Ruby
- Hands-on experience with web frameworks, databases, caching and messaging systems
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A passion for writing clean, efficient and maintainable code
