Job Summary

The Data Analytics Specialist (Supervisory Level) plays a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights to support the company’s sales, retention, and growth strategies for cable and broadband services. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to improve acquisition efforts, reduce churn, and identify market opportunities.

This supervisory position also oversees a small team of analysts and works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product units to ensure data-driven decision-making at all levels.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Sales & Customer Analytics
  • Analyze acquisition, retention, and churn trends by region, segment, and product
  • Churn & Retention Insights
  • Identify drivers of churn and assist in developing mitigation strategies
  • Market Intelligence
  • Map potential markets using internal and external data sources
  • Reporting & Dashboarding
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Team Oversight
  • Supervise a small team of analysts, provide guidance, review outputs, and support skills development
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine data requirements and provide insights
  • Forecasting & Modeling Support
  • Assist in developing predictive models on customer behavior and sales forecasting
  • Data Quality & Governance
  • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and compliance with internal policies
Key Competencies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data manipulation techniques
  • Familiarity with CRM, sales platforms, and customer databases
  • Experience interpreting and presenting complex data in a business context
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior analysts
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and validation
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role
  • Experience working in or supporting sales, marketing, or commercial operations
  • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Telecom, broadband, or subscription-based industry experience is a plus
