Job Description:

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for executing, optimising, and supporting El Jannah’s customer communications across email and SMS using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This role supports the client’s CRM, app, and loyalty ecosystem by building and deploying automated journeys and campaign communications that strengthen customer connection, support repeat visitation, and drive long-term value. Working collaboratively with the Senior CRM & Loyalty Manager, wider Marketing team, and IT, this role ensures lifecycle strategies are delivered accurately, reliably, and at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Lifecycle & Journey Execution
  • Build and maintain automated lifecycle journeys ,including welcome, onboarding, post-purchase, retention, and reactivation programs
  • Configure Journey Builder workflows (entry sources, waits, decision splits, and exits)
  • Support personalisation using behavioural and transactional data from app, loyalty, and digital channels
  • Assist in maintaining CRM architecture that supports automation and lifecycle programs
  • Ensure journeys are well-documented, scalable, and consistently optimised for performance
Campaign Delivery & Optimisation
  • Execute CRM campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting email and SMS aligned with marketing and promotional calendars
  • Support personalised offers, triggered communications, and targeted messaging
  • Conduct A/B testing and contribute to the optimisation of content, timing, and audience selection
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging aligns with brand tone and guidelines
  • Ensure reliable campaign execution during peak trading periods
Insights, Reporting & Quality Assurance
  • Produce post-send reporting and performance summaries for CRM campaigns and journeys
  • Monitor engagement, conversion, and behavioural metrics to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Conduct thorough QA across data, personalisation, links, tracking, and rendering prior to sending
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce Marketing Cloud issues such as send failures, logic errors, and data sync delays
Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with the CRM Marketing Specialist, Marketing, IT, and agency partners to support CRM initiatives
  • Maintain CRM documentation, journey records, and build standards
  • Support CRM governance, privacy, and data compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency and platform best practices

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, marketing automation or data analysis (preferred)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience executing CRM campaigns across email and SMS
  • Strong working knowledge of Journey Builder and campaign execution
  • Experience working with data extensions, segmentation, and personalisation logic
  • Ability to troubleshoot common Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution issues
  • Experience producing CRM campaign reporting and insights
  • Exposure to lifecycle, loyalty, or app-based CRM programs (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently while supporting broader CRM objectives
