Job Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/Collage Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position
- Experience in Fire Protection System (Sprinkler and Fire detection and alarm system) Design and Estimation
- Knowledge with NFPA and other standard design guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support Component- Efficiently schedule Australian Accredited Practitioners for Fire Audits to ensure their day is fully utilized.
- Review site job history and endorse Annual Fire Safety Statement/Certificate, as applicable.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports and accurate fire safety statements.
- Ensure timely release of Annual Fire Safety Statements on or before the Council Submission Due Dates.
- Prepare detailed design and estimate of Fire Detection and Alarm System with Building Occupant Warning System/Emergency Warning and Intercommunication System, and Fire Sprinkler System.
- Review and meticulously check designs and estimates against Standards, Fire Services Specifications, and Fire Engineering reports.
- Evaluate purchase offers by accurately costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
- Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating prices.
- Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and materials specifications.
- Provide technical support and diligently prepare necessary documents for ongoing projects.
- Prepare actual costing of ongoing and completed projects with attention to detail.
