Maintenance manager

Job Description

1. Providing maintenance services to existing boiler customers.
2. Sales and proposal activities to new and potential customers.
3. Establishing new branches and recruiting necessary new employees.
4. Managing the operations of new branches.
5. All work related to new branches.
6. Establishing and managing boiler chemical manufacturing operations.
7. Promoting cost reduction in boiler chemical manufacturing.
8. Training and management to improve the skills of subordinate employees.
9. Performance management of the maintenance department.
10. Accounting management for the entire maintenance department.
11. Managing external orders for the maintenance department.
12. Inventory management for the maintenance department.
13. Developing strategies to improve the performance of the maintenance department.
14. Liaison between the maintenance department and other departments.
15. Liaison with the Japan headquarters and other group companies.
16. Proactively reporting information learned through work to superiors.
17. All other work as instructed by superiors.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in maintenance engineering, plant operations, or equipment servicing.
3. Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
5. Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
6. Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Good project management and organizational abilities.
9. Must be able to speak and understand Japanese.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
12. Physically fit and willing to work in varying conditions.
13. Experience working in Japan or with Japanese companies is highly preferred.
14. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
