Registered Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on quality control, quality inspection, purchasing, inventory, replenishment, and dispensing of all products of Pharmacare Plus
• Accurate patient records, medication records and patient counseling
• Recommends medicines to mitigate patient symptoms
• Source for suppliers, receive orders from suppliers, monitor stocks, record and report inventories
• Dispense medicines, medical supplies, & other items in the pharmacy; and counsel customers on the proper use of medications, medical supplies and the like
• Keeping medicines and all medical supplies safe, pure, effective and constantly ensuring that they are not expired
• Dispenses medications following Rx issued by and authorized medical licensed practitioner
• Oversees the performance of packaging, labeling, measuring, compounding, storing, charging, and recording medications used in patient care
• Review Rx for appropriateness of therapy to determine ingredients needed and to ensure correct dosage
• Interpret prescriptions accordingly and advises patients and care providers of potential drug interactions, possible side effects, storage information, and instructions on how to use medications
• Present drug lectures to medical nursing staff, physicians, and other groups on matters pertaining to pharmacy
• Prepares sterile products for patient administration, packaging, sterilization, storage, and stability requirements of the product
• Files Rx when fully served, files erroneous Rx, impossible Rx, and violative Rx and reports to the FDA
• Accurately encodes all the medicines and supplies in the system and checks the inventory of the medicines and supplies on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and on an annual basis and as the need arises
• Prepares daily income reports and pharmacy’s monthly purchase order sheets
• Follow legal and ethical standards, guidelines, policies, rules, regulations and law
• Prepares reports and other requirements needed for government compliance
• Manage personnel and monitor future online ordering and other platforms
• Ensure that the pharmacy is well organized, sanitized and its premises are always clean
• Attend technical and behavioral trainings and seminars that are beneficial to the company and personal development
• Coordinate and collaborate with key team members for planning and execution of company programs, projects, management directives, events, etc.
• Research and review new medical, clinical and pharmaceutical trends and materials that are suitable for our needs
• Keeps pharmaceutical and medical-related materials organized by establishing and organizing files
• Monitors project timeline and calendar of activities of your pharmacy and those that were given by the company and its affiliates
• Uphold Data Privacy Act and protect the company by keeping all information confidential
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Pharmacy
• With valid and active PRC license
• Has the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of PhilHealth YAKAP Gamot / Konsulta programs
• Should possess a good attention to details
• 1-2 years of work experience
• Willingness to be assigned in community-clinic/pharmacy
