About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our growing team at APW Tech'. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and optimising advanced data analytics solutions that drive strategic business decisions.Working in our dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact. This full-time, on-site position is based in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyse complex data sets
- Design and build advanced analytics models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems using data-driven solutions
- Continuously optimise and enhance existing analytics capabilities to improve performance and accuracy
- Mentor and guide junior members of the analytics team to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall team growth
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics
- 5+ years of experience as a data or analytics engineer, with a strong background in software engineering
- Expertise in SQL is a must.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala, as well as expertise in data warehousing and business intelligence technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning models, and a solid understanding of data science and statistical techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
