JOB SUMMARY
The Legal Management Staff is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Legal Division, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, proper documentation, and coordination of legal processes. The role involves handling contracts, monitoring legal cases, maintaining records, and assisting in safeguarding the company’s legal interests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Legal Documentation & Records Management
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents such as contracts, agreements, affidavits, and memoranda
- Maintain and update legal files, case records, and documentation systems
- Ensure proper safekeeping and confidentiality of all legal documents
- Contract Management
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and monitoring contracts and agreements
- Track contract validity, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding contract-related concerns
- Compliance Monitoring
- Assist in ensuring company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements
- Monitor submission of permits, licenses, and statutory documents
- Support in compliance audits and documentation reviews
- Case Monitoring & Coordination
- Maintain records of legal cases, hearings, and deadlines
- Coordinate with external legal counsel regarding case status and requirements
- Prepare summaries and reports on legal matters
- Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal Division
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and legal summaries
- Assist in policy documentation and implementation
- Liaison Work
- Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., DOLE, SEC, LGUs, courts, etc.)
- Process legal-related applications, filings, and submissions
- Assist in notarization and documentation requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in legal or compliance work is an advantage
- Knowledge of Philippine laws, labor laws, and corporate compliance is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Office-based work with occasional fieldwork for legal filings and coordination
- May require coordination with external legal counsel and government agencies
- Willing to travel all over the Philippines
- Accuracy and completeness of legal documentation
- Timeliness of submissions and compliance requirements
- Proper tracking of contracts and legal cases
- Responsiveness to internal and external legal concerns
