About the role
Jade Solutions and Management Services is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Binan City, Laguna. This is a strategic leadership position that plays a crucial role in driving our engineering operations and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.As Engineering Manager, you will oversee engineering teams, manage technical projects, and ensure compliance with industry standards whilst fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organisation.
What you'll be doing- Leading and managing engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising engineering activities and technical resources across multiple projects
- Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with company objectives and business goals
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Mentoring and developing engineering staff, providing coaching and performance management
- Managing stakeholder relationships and communicating project status to senior management and clients
- Identifying process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Reviewing technical designs, specifications, and project deliverables for quality assurance
- Managing budgets, resources, and timelines for assigned engineering projects
- Fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and professional growth
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in an engineering environment and worked with a local semiconductor multinational company in the field of final test operations
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards relevant to the engineering sector
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Seasoned manager in a semiconductor final test operations preferably handled production, equipment (tester/handlers) and test/product engineering.
- Hands on operations management and excellent analytical capability.
- Able to communicate with higher levels of a corporate organization of semiconductor OEM.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance management
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and business decisions
- Professional engineering registration or certification is preferred
