Quezon City - Corporate Health and Safety Manager

About the role

As the Corporate Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of workplace safety and well-being across our construction projects. This full-time position will see you based in Metro Manila, with responsibility for ensuring our operations adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.

1. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
3. Provide training and support to project teams to promote a strong safety culture
4. Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
5. Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on health and safety performance
6. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry associations to ensure compliance
7. Lead the development and rollout of new safety initiatives and innovations

1. Significant experience (5+ years) as a Health and Safety Manager or similar role within the construction industry
2. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and best practices
3. Proven track record of implementing effective safety management systems and driving continuous improvement
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities to identify risks and implement appropriate control measures
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lead multidisciplinary teams
7. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
9. Must possess COSH/BOSH certification from DOLE
10. CSP/NEBOSH certification preferred
