Core Functions
- Manage and ensure the effective implementation of Compensation and Benefits programs in alignment with internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Supervise payroll and timekeeping operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with labor and tax regulations.
- Provide administrative support to recruitment activities, maintaining efficiency in hiring processes and contributing to employer branding efforts.
- Oversee general HR operations, ensuring compliance, accurate documentation, and employee support services.
- Lead and develop the HR operations team by providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight to promote service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Statement of Duties and Responsibilities -
- Monitor and implement compensation structures that ensure equity and competitiveness within the market.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, government-mandated benefits, and retirement plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate enrollment, updates, and termination of employee benefits.
- Liaise with third-party benefits providers and monitor service level performance.
- Conduct regular compensation and benefits analysis; participate in market benchmarking and industry surveys.
- Supervise the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate computation and timely salary release in compliance with labor and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with the Finance department for processing of salary disbursements, tax remittances, and payroll-related reports.
- Monitor employee attendance, oversee timekeeping systems, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll-related inputs such as overtime, leaves, and deductions.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records and reports.
- Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers on job postings, interview scheduling, and tracking candidate progress.
- Oversee the documentation and administration of recruitment processes including requisitions, applicant files, and onboarding logistics.
- Support employer branding and provide a responsive and professional candidate experience.
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill; recommend improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency.
- Supervise HR administrative tasks including maintenance of employee records, contract generation, and updates in the HRIS.
- Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures with labor laws and company guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of HR files, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in implementing initiatives on employee engagement, performance evaluation, and retention.
- Serve as a primary contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related concerns and processes.
- Supervise HR operations team members by assigning tasks, monitoring work quality, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and skills development opportunities to HR staff.
- Foster a collaborative and service-oriented work environment focused on continuous improvement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5 years up of experience in HR operations, including experience with payroll, benefits, and recruitment support.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR operational processes.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HRIS, timekeeping, ATS).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Demonstrates credibility, earns trust, and influences others to adopt HR best practices.
