What You'll Do
As an Accountant – General Ledger, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and supporting month-end close activities in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities- Review, validate, and process daily accounting transactions while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and General Ledger adjustments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice processing, payment coordination, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies.
- Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP Ariba, and other finance applications to process accounting transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
- Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth accounting operations.
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) is required.
✔ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
✔ Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Financial Reporting
- Audit
- Month-End Close
✔ Strong understanding of:
- General Ledger accounting
- Journal entries and account reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Internal controls
- AP processes
- Intercompany accounting
- Fixed assets and prepayments
✔ Experience using ERP systems such as:
- Oracle Fusion
- SAP Ariba
- Oracle
- Other accounting or expense management systems
✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Exposure to project coordination or process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of automated expense management solutions.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
