Senior / Graphic Designer (Tobacco Packaging)

The Senior / Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective designs that communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and deliver high-quality design solutions across various platforms.

Lead color proofing processes and craft packaging design that is tailored to resonate with the intended target audience, leveraging a strong command of typography, visual storytelling, structural design, and trend forecasting to deliver bold, brand-elevating work.

• Expertise in visual storytelling and translating brand narratives into impactful packaging with a strong sense of typography, layout and hierarchy.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute 3D structural packaging design, to complement the marketing strategy.
• Develop creative concepts and art to complement the creation of marketing material for print and digital media such as EDMs, graphic elements for video ads, hero banner, product photography, digital imaging, and digital guides including advertisements and website assets.
• Sharp eye for color accuracy and print production nuances, work closely with external vendors and agencies to coordinate production and printing processes and ensure that all materials meet brand and market-release standards
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and strategies that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are produced on time and to the highest standard of quality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and incorporate innovative techniques into design projects, applying insights to creative development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all brand touchpoints.

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across print and digital media, tobacco packaging experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
• Organized and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Animation experience is a plus (GIFs, After Effects, Edge Animate, UX Pin etc.)
