What you'll be doing- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and other machinery
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventive servicing on equipment to minimise downtime and extend lifespan
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, identifying and addressing the root cause
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and maintenance schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role within the Services industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency in the use of various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
