COMMISSARY SUPERVISOR

Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Team Management: Oversees a team of 16 Line Cooks

Salary: ₱18,000 starting rate, subject to adjustment based on the applicant’s experience and demonstrated competencies

Job Description:

This role is critical to our operations, and we are seeking a candidate who is highly detail-oriented and capable of maintaining strict quality standards. The primary responsibility of the Commissary Supervisor is to lead and guide the team throughout the entire shift, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

Additionally, the role requires rigorous quality checking of all outputs to ensure consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient
workflow.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and
performance management.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and
according to recipes and menu specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in
compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock
levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure timely and
accurate order delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional
manner, resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, bringing creativity and innovation to our offerings.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health codes and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a leadership role within the kitchen or food service industry
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a
high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must have completed at least two years in college
  • Proficient in Excel and reporting
