About the role

Integrated Innovation and Hospitality Colleges is seeking an experienced and dedicated School Librarian to join our team in Novaliches Proper, Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time School Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our school library, ensuring students and faculty have access to a wide range of educational resources and materials.

• Cataloguing, organising, and maintaining the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
• Assisting students and faculty in finding and accessing relevant information and resources
• Developing and implementing library programmes and initiatives to promote reading and information literacy
• Collaborating with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, shelving, and inventory management
• Staying informed of new developments in library science and implementing best practices
• Maintaining an inviting and engaging library environment

• A bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• A registered and licensed professional librarian is a PLUS
• With experience working as a librarian in an educational setting
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using library management software and other relevant technologies
• A passion for education and a commitment to promoting literacy and learning
