Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. ) Pricing Analysis & Strategy Execution
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models that align with customer segments, product offerings, and volume thresholds.
  • Evaluate cost structures and integrate vendor or operational inputs into pricing frameworks.
  • Create and manage pricing dashboards and reports to monitor margin performance, pricing compliance, and revenue contribution.
  • Propose rate adjustments for customers that do not meet agreed shipping profiles or minimum volume commitments.
  • Identify high-value shipments declared below standard valuation and flag for commercial escalation and compliance.
  1. ) Contract Governance & Lifecycle Management
  • Maintain the integrity of all commercial agreements by ensuring contract terms, rates, volume commitments, and surcharges are consistently applied and enforced.
  • Manage a centralized, secure, and version-controlled database of all active and expired commercial contracts for audit and operational visibility.
  • Trigger proactive alerts to the Commercial Team and stakeholders for contracts nearing expiration—at 90, 60, and 30-day intervals—ensuring timely renewal or escalation.
  • Review contracts for risks, inconsistencies, or under-recoveries, and recommend adjustments aligned with pricing policies and customer behavior.
  • Ensure contract terms such as valuation fees, delivery attempts, billing conditions, and liability limits are correctly implemented and monitored.
  • Support documentation of rate card attachments, agreed exceptions (e.g., return docs, RTS charges, packaging surcharges), and scope-of-service clarifications.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Billing, and Commercial teams to align pricing clauses, billing arrangements, claims policy inclusion, and dispute resolution provisions.
  • Monitor that contracts remain enforceable, updated, and compliant with internal policies and applicable laws.

List of Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years in pricing analytics or contract administration, preferably in logistics, courier, or service industries.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, commercial contracts, risk clauses, and billing structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in contract lifecycle tracking, document control systems, and policy enforcement.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and clear communicator with the ability to interface across Commercial, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams.
