As an ERP Support Specialist Lead, you will manage indirect purchasing and asset systems to support JIT manufacturing. You'll train users, improve processes, negotiate procurement, and ensure efficiency across global operations while delivering top-notch ERP support.

- Diverse and supportive work environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Production & Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent. APICS or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years in procurement and purchasing of MRO items in a JIT manufacturing environment. Knowledge of QAD or asset systems is a plus.
- Skills:
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT and integrated ERP applications.
- Problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Experience in training and presenting.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Collaborate with plant support personnel to understand indirect MRO requirements and inventory targets in a JIT manufacturing environment
- Learn and document plant processes and recommend improvements or automation
- Train end users across varied positions and levels of technical ability
- Lead teams and solve problems effectively
- Communicate clearly with strong written and verbal skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through on tasks
- Work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Occasionally work outside regular office hours when required
- Assess how schedule changes impact end users
- Manage multiple production lines and customers professionally
- Apply analytical skills and make decisions based on data
- Utilize enterprise systems, particularly in:
- Indirect purchasing with an asset management system
- Negotiating volume buys across multi-site business operations
- Procuring manufacturing products
Reporting: No direct or indirect reports.
Physical Demands & Environment:
- Open office environment with moderate noise.
- Requires clear vocal communication and strong hearing perception.
- Frequent use of computer systems and data analysis.
