DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service
  • Ensures quality service by building client relationships based on reliability and concern.
  • Provides 24/7 assistance to members, answering queries about benefits coverage.
  • Acts as a liaison between clients and PhilCare departments.
  • Handles VIP, disapproved, and borderline cases to maintain goodwill without compromising PhilCare’s interests.
Renewal of Accounts
  • Reviews and analyzes healthcare plans in coordination with Actuarial, Medical, Claims, and Underwriting departments.
  • Designs renewal contracts with value-adding benefits and competitive pricing.
  • Prepares Account Benefit Costing (ABC) for renewal accounts.
  • Conducts renewal proposal presentations and upsells Annual Membership Fees (AMF).
  • Manages major and special accounts worth at least P150M annually.
Direct Marketing & Brokers/Agents Accounts
  • Negotiates healthcare coverage and pricing for direct marketing clients.
  • Works with brokers/agents to negotiate healthcare plans, following PhilCare’s policies.
Utilization Review
  • Regularly monitors account utilization to identify financial risks and suggest interventions.
Orientation Programs
  • Organizes sessions to help clients and members understand benefits and access procedures.
Annual Physical Examination (APE)
  • Ensures timely execution of APE with assistance from the Medical Department and Call Center.
Account Monitoring
  • Uses various monitoring tools to track account status and special cases.
  • Maintains communication records for future reference.
Other Responsibilities
  • Acts as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of the team’s manager.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree graduate
  • At least 2-3 years experience in Account Management in an HMO/similar industry
  • With Financial Analytical Skills and Knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Must have excellent Written and Oral Communications, Attention to Detail, Flexible, with Integrity, Fostering Teamwork, Resuls-Oriented, Analytical, with Organizational Sensitivity, Technical Savvy and must demonstrate ability to establish trust and manager through difficult circumstances while maintaining respect, dignity and integrity.
