Business and System Analyst
Business and System Analyst Supervisor is responsible for doing and leading the analysis, design, and delivery of business and systems improvements across various operational domains including ERP, warehousing, transport, sales, and supplier management platforms.
The position is hands-on, with the analyst expected to create documentation, gather requirements, and directly contribute to the implementation of systems and automation efforts across both internal and third-party logistics operations.
This role requires a deep understanding of the meat distribution business, involving ERP, importation, storage in 3PL and company-owned warehouses, and delivery via subcontracted or in-house transport. Initially an individual contributor, the role is expected to transition into a leadership position as the team expands.
- Leads business and system analysis across core applications such as ERP (NETSUITE – Finance, Accounting, order management, Warehouse Management, Transport Management), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Sales Management, and Supplier Management platforms.
- Provides planning, design and execution of business-system integration, analysis and automation deliverables including user requirements, functional specifications, models, and system use cases.
- Oversees the planning, design, and implementation of business-system integration, analysis improvements, automation and digitization that improve efficiency across operations, sales, and logistics.
- Manages project delivery for system-related initiatives by creating detailed timelines, budgets, and task assignments.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business and systems integration including analysis and technology fit assessment, with proficiency in tools and methodologies such as DFD, ERD, BPMN, workflow diagrams, and benchmarking.
