Production Supervisor

Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees production operations, ensures workflow organization, safety, and quality standards are met while supervising staff and coordinating inventory activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise production manpower, multitasking from individual to group levels.
• Organize workflow, assign responsibilities, and prepare daily schedules.
• Oversee production processes, coach newly hired staff.
• Ensure safe equipment use, clean procedures, and environment.
• Check production output at end of each shift.
• Prepare production reports at end of shifts.
• Record consumption and deliveries of materials for inventory reports, ensuring variance targets are met.
• Requisition raw materials and packaging materials based on production plans.
• Initiate returns of unnecessary raw materials and packaging materials.
• Lead inventory activities monthly.
• Accomplish incident reports for packaging, raw materials, and finished goods, submitting to QA.
• Conduct and supervise macro-scale production testing for quality improvement.
• Coordinate with agencies regarding incident reports and other concerns.
• Record and organize test data for report generation and analysis.
• Ensure department targets are controlled, monitored, met, and analyzed for action.

Requirements:

• Full-time, permanent availability.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Preferably Chemical Engineering Graduate
• Experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing operations is an advantage.
