Junior Accountant (Mandarin & Spanish Speaking)

SGL Manila is hiring for the following role:

• PTP Junior Accountant (Chinese Speaking)
• PTP Junior Accountant (Spanish Speaking)

General Overview of the Job:

The Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) Junior Accountant supports the accounts payable process by handling invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor record maintenance. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions while following company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand, speak, read and write in Chinese or Spanish language and should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to assist with vendors, stakeholders and internal team interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy/Financial Management or any finance/accounting related course
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience.
• Chinese or Spanish language proficiency certification

Non-negotiables:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, effective communication, customer service and team player.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in Chinese or Spanish Language
• Excel: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in a shared services environment
• Experience with AS400, D365 systems, process improvement, data analytics, legal and compliance knowledge, and project management.
