Job Summary

The Animal Nutritionist is responsible for developing, evaluating, and monitoring feed programs to support optimal poultry performance, health, and cost efficiency. The role focuses on ensuring proper nutrition standards aligned with company goals and production requirements.

Requirements

Graduate of Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Chemical Engineering or related course
Background or strong interest in poultry nutrition and feed formulation
Knowledge of feed ingredients, nutritional values, and poultry feeding programs
Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills
Able to work independently and collaborate with farm, feedmill, and operations teams

Responsibilities

Develop and recommend poultry feed formulations based on production needs
Monitor feed performance, conversion rates, and bird health outcomes
Coordinate with feedmill, farm, and operations teams on nutrition programs
Evaluate feed ingredients and ensure compliance with quality standards
Prepare reports and provide nutrition related recommendations for improvement
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to poultry nutrition and performance
