AP Securities, Incorporated is in need of Equity Research Analyst / Research Analyst (Stock Brokerage)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Research Analyst to support our equities research and investment decision-making process. The role involves analyzing listed companies, monitoring market trends, and producing high-quality research reports to guide clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental analysis on publicly listed companies (financial statements, valuation, industry positioning)
- Build and maintain financial models (earnings forecasts, DCF, comparable valuations)
- Prepare equity research reports, market updates, and stock recommendations
- Monitor daily market movements, economic developments, and sector trends
- Track company disclosures, earnings releases, and corporate actions
- Assist in developing investment strategies and thematic research
- Support sales/trading team with timely insights and client queries
- Attend briefings, analyst calls, and investor presentations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field- 1–3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, or brokerage (fresh graduates with strong academic background may be considered)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of stock market operations and trading (ideally with exposure to the Philippine market)
- Familiarity with valuation methods (DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA, etc.)
- Experience using financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg)
