Product Data Manager - Remote

Employment type: Full-time | Day Shift 6AM-3PM

About the Role

This role owns the end‑to‑end collation, validation, structuring, and publishing of product technical and commercial data, ensuring no gaps, errors, or delays.

• Supplier liaison and data collection — act as the primary contact with overseas suppliers to obtain datasheets, photometric files, test reports, and pricing; follow up proactively across time zones to close gaps and resolve discrepancies.
• Technical data management — collate and verify product specifications (electrical, photometric, physical attributes, ratings), collect compliance documents, and cross‑check for consistency before system entry.
• Pricing data management — maintain accurate cost and pricing data within ERP/CRM and Excel; track and update changes consistently across systems.
• System entry and publishing — structure and upload product data into ERP/CRM, Excel templates, and the website; maintain product records, attributes, categories, and pricing; publish listings and specifications aligned with brand standards.
• Coordination and quality control — liaise with the internal Product Management team on priorities and new product introductions; maintain version control and a source of truth across systems; propose improvements to templates, workflows, and categorisation conventions.

• Excellent written and spoken English for clear communication with overseas suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience in product data management, PIM, or data administration.
• Strong, hands‑on Excel skills (structured data handling, lookups, validation, large datasets).
• Sound knowledge of ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Odoo, or Zoho.
• Ability to interpret technical product specifications and datasheets accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple data streams and follow up persistently until tasks are closed.
• Experience in the lighting, electrical, or building products industry.
• Experience publishing or maintaining product content on websites or e‑commerce platforms.

Desirable / Advantageous:

• Basic familiarity with photometric data and files (IES/LDT).
• Basic familiarity with LM‑80, ISTMT, LM‑79 reports.
