- Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a technical consultant in FTI/
- Should have a general understanding of the Banking spectrum and Transaction Banking in particular.
- Has working knowledge of principles and methods in FTI.
- Experience in Finastra products (FTI , TICC, FFC), Core Java, XML, JAXB, Spring framework, Database (Oracle, DB2) and Unix commands.
- Must be familiar working with both windows and Linux OS environment, applicable servers (Web sphere, JBOSS and WebLogic)
- Must be familiar with setting up FTI application, DB setup, ELS, setup, using Liquibase/ dB maintain tool, troubleshooting E2E flow in between FTI FCC.
- Experience in FTI SDK customization, SDK Interfacing, SDK Integration, SDK Workflow implementation, Screen tailoring, Literals , fragments, and branding.
- FTI Data base management and upgrade experience.
- Experience in product Configuration management tools (CMT) and API Stub.
- Experience in designing reports using Crystal report designer, FTI data modeling.
- Must have worked on middleware e.g. (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ), logging framework.
- Hands-on experience on interfacing development covering both (batch extracts, online/real-time) with external system required.
- Good exposure in SWIFT messaging.
- Having experience FCC, TICC , CCB, FFC, DWE etc. will be additional advantage.
- Product Implementations
- Learn the Product functionally on which the resource is assigned to
- Understand the overall architecture of the product (functionally & technically)
- Ability to handle client discussions and understand the business ask / objectives and map it to the product features, identify the gaps and help solution to address those gaps
- Documentation of the business objectives, mapping to the product features and solutioning the gaps
- Effective negotiations & coordination with the Bank on the deliverables
- Coordination with internal team members including GD and Product Teams
- Better efficiency in closing out the requirements within the stipulated timelines and move up the learning curve to deliver more complex requirements
- Practice Initiatives
- Support Pre-sales
- Support internal initiatives including Regional Blueprints, Business Process Maps, etc.
- Share knowledge / learnings from current and past implementations as well as from the general banking markets
- Support the creation of reusable artifacts for practice
- Ability to grasp and exhibit knowledge of the company, processes and clients; performs a range of assignments related to Business Analysis
- Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgement and precedents (e.g. conducts analysis and structures data interpretation, prepares reports, monitors compliance of processes, etc.)
- Ability to use prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations
- Ability to impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team or across areas supported
- Have a clear understanding of the various methodologies of project delivery in IT
